There’s nothing like being a mom - but what if you could not only raise little ones but also dominate a sport? We love watching all of the great mothers out there in competitive sports and couldn’t resist taking the opportunity to celebrate them for Mother’s Day this year!
Of course, there are so many who are truly killing it in so many different capacities... meaning it would be absolutely impossible to cover them all! With that in mind, the Life's Rad team has highlighted a few examples that we love watching so that you can be inspired by their balance of motherhood and life as we are!
Kimmy Fasani is not only a pro snowboarder, but also one heck of an adventurer. Whether hiking, biking, traveling, climbing, or skiing with her 2 month old strapped to her chest (seriously!), her travels will absolutely inspire you to get out and get busy yourself!

Kikkan Randall is a 5x Olympian and the World Champion for Cross Country Skiing! She’s also an amazing mama - just check out these adorable interactions with her little guy, Breck! If only we could all be snowflake catchers AND World Cup winners, right??

Bethany Hamilton is the very definition of the word “unstoppable.” Most people know her as the Soul Surfer… a girl who overcame losing her arm to a shark at age 13 to win her first national title within 2 years, but she is also involved in many charities, promotes a healthy lifestyle, and is working on an upcoming project which includes a documentary, photo book, and children’s book all while traveling and speaking to groups. Just wow!

Kerri Walsh Jennings is considered the beach volleyball career leader, with three Olympic gold medals and an Olympic bronze, and not only has she raised her littles, but she was actually FIVE WEEKS PREGNANT during the Summer Olympics in London in 2012! And yes, she won. Now THAT'S rad!
